Therapeutic horseback riding is an increasingly used method recognized in the health sector to help people develop their abilities at all levels. The goal of equine-assisted therapy is the individual improvement of the mental and physical health of the individual through the practice of certain activities on and with the horse. The horse, also known as a co-therapist in this area, has an anatomy very similar to that of a human being, which is why its three-dimensional movement at a walk is identical to the human gait.
Horse Adventure Tours has been certified in equine assisted therapy since 2021.
Therapeutic horseback riding packages
Therapeutic sessions should be carried out regularly (at least 2 to 3 times a week) only then results can be seen. There is no age limit to participate in our therapeutic riding program, as anyone can participate.
The duration of a therapy session varies with each client and requires an individual assessment that we will do together. However, the minimum duration of a session should be at least 30 minutes.
