Adventurous Riding Tours
Horse Adventure Tours offers different types of horseback riding tours in Aljezur / West Algarve with different durations. Options include riding along the coastline of Aljezur, on the beach (only possible in winter or when there is a full moon) or inland. There are 4 horses available for the tours and all rides are private.
Our riding tours are also suitable for beginners, but in this case only with a maximum of 2 people at the same time and only at walking pace. The minimum age for the tours depends on the type of tour.
Horseback riding tours for children
We also offer guided horseback riding tours for children that have no riding experience from the age of 4. In this case, the guide takes the horse on a rope, accompanying it on foot, to secure the safety of the child. We have available some inland tours in Aljezur with a duration of 30 minutes for the younger children (4+) and tours with a duration of 60 minutes for the older children (5+).
The children that have at least 3 years of riding experience with the age of 10 and onwards have the possibility to go on 2 hour rides to the inland areas or along the coastline of Aljezur.
It’s also possible to make a mixed tour with the children and their parents if desired.
Note: The speed and tour will be adjusted to the child and its experience.
Horseback riding tour packages
Horse Adventure Tours also promotes horseback riding tour packages which works truth a monthly agreement for those that are resident in the area.
The minimum riding time is 4 times per month and the payment is always done in advance before the month starts.
You are welcome to specify your wishes, its also possible to make a mixed riding plan including tours and lessons. For this riding pachages there is a discount on the base price of the riding tours and lessons.
